I am amazed that the procedure at Champaign Endodontics was done with the expertise and no painful issues. Dr. Grote is the best, comforting, shows concern as he calls to ensure you have no problems after the procedure. I trust him fully as he gives you all the options to choose and make your decision with all issues up front. I recommend him highly if you are needing a root canal.

Dr. Grote is both a very capable dentist and a nice person. I want to tell of my experience with him. I was referred to him by my dentist, because I had an infection that could not be seen by usual X-ray equipment, and Dr. Grote has a device with a 360 degree view. Dr. Grote located the infection in a tooth that had already had a root canal. He described the options for treating the situation, and with consultation with my dentist, it was agreed that the best option was to remove the tooth, which is to be done by a different dentist. While examining the X-rays, Dr. Grote observed another tooth which also had a diseased nerve. After consulting again with my dentist, it was agreed that Dr. Grote should do a root canal procedure on that tooth. The treatment proceeds in two steps, with cleaning out the root, inserting medicine into the cavity, and making a temporary filling. I came back some ten days later to have the medicine cleared out and a regular filling inserted. All three of my visits with Dr. Grote went smoothly: he is punctual, gives the patient full attention, does the work well, and is attentive to patient comfort. Kind staff, respectful endodontists. Was able to be seen for consult and procedure same day. Great follow up care and availability, even for after-hours complications. I would love to go back, but I hope I don't have to!

I was referred to the Champaign Endodontics. This was my first time seeing an endodontist. I must admit that I was nervous about going but after the consultation with Dr. Grote and meeting the staff, I felt better. They were very friendly, reassuring and answered all my questions. Dr. Grote is an excellent doctor. I have had a root canal done before but not with a laser. It was painless and there was no need for pain medication after the procedure! Dr.Grote is a very caring doctor! After the office visit, he called to check on me! A doctor has never done this before. Thank you Dr.Grote 😊

I have been to Champaign endodontics in the past and have always had good service. My dentist referred me to Dr grote again for examination of a possible root canal . Went Iin On the 18th for a consultation . Was able to schedule appt following day for the root canal . Dr grote told me what expected plan would be but if he got in there and saw any cracks that we should discontinue . Unfortunately that is what happened and Dr grote told me I would need the tooth pulled . He was very thorough and gentle during the procedure . I appreciate his honesty about choices for the tooth . He followed up with me the next evening to see how I was doing and told me if had any issues don’t hesitate to call him . Top notch service would highly recommend them
